I would suggest something to do with optics since electromagnetic theory type experiment may be more difficult to do. Optics are simple enough, you just need a laser and can do all kind of experiement with it with polarizing lens.

there is alot of new technology now, then when they first came up with the 'laws'. they all have to be retested, take the ones from one branch, and try them out on the rest. you may find execptions to the 'laws'.
