You can burn the brake, causing it to malfunction. You'll no longer be able to park on inclines. The transmission can fail because the engine will have to work even harder to go at a normal speed (transmission repair is expensive).

That you can burn the handbrake and then you will have to fix it, oh and it will also make your car slower because of the friction of the brake.

If the hand brake was properly applied the car shouldn't be able to move. Mine won't.

aside from burning the back brakes if you lock your tires up too long (ie doing e-brake slides on fresh gravel roads=) youll get flat spots on the tires
