In the past arranged marriages had couples marrying at puberty.
Everybody is different but marrying too young means you lose that awesome time of meeting new friends and having fun whilst growing up.
People also mature at different ages...so you should also realise that the person you thought was wonderful at 18, may not be the same at 25 or even 30...so sometimes its better to wait till then...
I would say mid 20's is the best for childbearing, etc... so don't leave it too long...
When you meet that person, you will know the time is right....

I was 22 when I got married, but I had been with my fiance for nearly 4 years at that time.
I don't think everyone should get married at this age, but I was always more mature than most people my age.
I had my first job at 15 and have never been unemployed since then. I moved out at 18 and put myself thru college, bought a house and worked my way up to an awesome job in accounting.
Point is that everyone matures at their own rate and therefore everyone will have their own age when it is good for them to marry.
Some people may be ready at 20, others may take awhile to get to that point.
Good luck

I think that the laws that stand for 18 being the legal age is cool, and after that, it's when you get that feeling of completeness, the feeling of wanting to go to sleep fast to just wake up and see the person again, when you share a bond like no other that is based on love, trust, honesty, and faith fullness, When you can honestly say that you and this person can make it last for a lifetime, when that feeling is natural to think and not just words to say. Think of it as a one way road once you say I do you aren't going to be able to change that. You and that person for a lifetime.

I think it all depends on the people getting married and how serious they are about each other. I got married at the age of 18 and had been with my husband since I was 16 and were still happy three kids later. I couldn't see myself with any one else.

i think the right time for marriage is about 26 or 27, you would have already finished school and found a job and career set.

age is not the only point to keep in mind; luckily, you should consider marriage once you have a decent job and studies, otherwise responsibilities may turn a lovely couple into a nightmare.
