Be polite. Be memorable. Shake everyone's hand, etc. Normal tips for job interviews are probably good for modeling interviews.

Wear something modest but flattering. As soon as you walk in, introduce yourself to everyone and shake everyone's hand while making direct eye contact. Give their hand a little bit of a squeeze (but don't crush them!) because it gives a little aire of confidence. Smile a lot. Try to make a little bit of small talk (preferably not about the weather), such as a compliment on clothing or a painting that's in the room. Don't sit down until they ask you to, or until they sit down first. Sit away from the back of the seat but not all the way on the edge. Try not to fiddle or look around the room. Speak slowly so you don't get carried away and lose your train of thought or anything, and also speak loudly and clearly so they can hear you (don't mumble!). Also, most importantly, be there EARLY. They might be able to see you a little bit early and it will look good that you are there before expected. Take a little time to relax, take some deep breaths, get a drink of water, etc. If your hands are normally a little sweaty, go to a restroom and put some cold water on your hands, or if they're normally cold, put some warm water on them.

Another weird, but important tip, is make sure your shoes are shined. Sounds weird, but I had somebody come to my college last year and talk about interview tips and apparently it's a really big thing. It makes you look more sophisticated and pulled together. Like you took more time getting ready and all. Also bring everything with you that you could possibly need (photos, resumes, etc). And feel free to bring a small notebook to take a couple notes in. Especially names and contact numbres/e-mail addresses.

And ALWAYS send a thank you note immediately after the interview. Nowadays e-mail notes a little more acceptable, but snail-mail is still the prefered way. A nice simple "Thank You" card with a short note inside is fine. Thank them for taking the time to see you and you look forward to hearing back from them. Make sure you re-read it before you send it. Not to bust on your typing or anything, I swear, it's just very easy to make simple mistakes, like "I look forward to hear from you" instead of "I look forward to hearING from you" (with the ING).

With interviews, sometimes the smallest think can make it or break it for you, so be on your best behavior and act accordingly. But be confident in yourself!!!! KNOW that you can do it. Just don't get cocky about it or anything. Practice beforehand if you need to. Call a couple people over to give you a "mock" interview so you're prepared for anything. And don't lie! For example, if they ask if you looked at their website and you haven't, then don't say you did. Because they might ask you something about it and realize you lied. That's not good. Just say your internet hasn't been working or something like that. It's better than getting caught. I do reccomend you check out their website though if they have one. You can also make small talk about that.

!!!!!!GOOD LUCK!!!!! Hope those tips help!!!

First and Foremost - you need a book.

in the book:

Page One - your measurements, height, weight, hair and eye color....

All pages after that need to be professionally taken by a legitimate Photographer. You only need 3 looks:

One Headshot - and it better be good b/c it is the one that will stick in their minds..
One Full Body Shot / Fashion - Put together a KILLER outfit that even if too "out there" to wear yourself, showing off your body and mostly your poise for them to see.
One of Whatever - you can do a swimsuit shot, but it must be VERY classy; OR you could do a "candid" shot where a Photographer will catch you off guard at your loveliest, gotta have one of the three smiling - usually the third shot.

you can make 5x7 cards with your info on the front and the pictures on the back.

However, also take your three looks in with you in a portfolio, with every shot in 8x10 page.

When you have a session with a photographer, they will shoot at least an entire roll of film on each look. Make sure you have the first three, but then also add the others from the session that you think are the best.

AND NEVER FORGET - look MINDBLOWING at your interview. Show up 15 to 10 minutes early to announce yourself and wait.

DON'T act like you are a rookie. ACT like you know exactly what you are doing!!

Good Luck!!

Unfortunately, your downfall is what you need to work on. Spelling!!!! No matter what the job is that you are applying for, if you can't communicate properly, you will have a harder time being considered for the job. Proper grammar and spelling are absolute rules in the written context of any interview, and proper grammar when you are speaking.

It is particularly heinous that your words are misspelled on a computer system and web site that have spell check built right into them. This shows you aren't too smart all the way around.

Please use the spell check button it you're a bad speller! There is no excuse for that! But I guess you won't have to worry about your spelling instead worry about how you look!
