I have the same problem. I am a guy and I like to talk openly to my better half, who doesn't like it. I think it's important to talk about stuff and let the other person know whats going through my mind, but she just likes to keep quiet about those issues and deny that she ever thinks about them. Then I learn on here that she talks openly secretly with other guys. It frustrates me to not have anyone to talk to about stuff. yes, intimate stuff. I'm sorry I couldn't help with some smooth answer, but I am in the same boat. Anybody wanna chat or IM? marks3kids@yahoo.com Good Luck

When you say , you love to talk openly? are you referring to speaking about people you are watching or are you referring to sexual talk , or are you referring to expressing your feelings for you better half? Being a good communicator is a wonderful trait unto its' self, learning when to voice your opinion is ever a better trait. Check your tone of voice as well, what your better half is probably trying to tell you is to tone it down, not change the subject. Every word spoken is not for every ear present. Just a thought.

just be yourself.. if u talk openly, talk opening.. your "better half" should love you for you and not try to change you... especially if she's doing it too
