Have your doctor do some blood tests. me and my partner tried for 3 years before i went and seem an ob/gyn about it. when i did they did some blood test and found that i had PCOS (poly cystic ovarian syndrome) they decided to put my on clomid (fertility drug) and within the first month dose i became pregnant. i only did this when i found a friend that had the same problem and was diagnosed the same thing. when she took the clomid it took about 2-3 months for it to work but she had a set of twins.

You will not conceive if you are distrubed or stressed out, even this simple seeing your friends thing. You just got to let it happen. It seems that you are pressuriing it to happen... believe me, the more you do this, it will not happen.

Doctors will have to do a test on both partners... numerous test usually starting with a simple pap smear for the ladies....

You got to calm down (both you and your partner)... If it is stress thats causing it, going for a vacation during your fertile period may help increase the chances of a preganancy.

Also try taking folic acid to strenghten your womb.

Good Luck.

If you have been trying, you could see a fertility specialist. The doctor(s) will do whatever tests they think appropriate.

However, before you do that, I would suggest you read _Taking Charge of Your Fertility_ by Toni Weschler. It will help you determine if you are ovulating and when, and it *may* be all the information you need to get pregnant. Even if not, using it can save you time, money, and discomfort when you *do* get medical help.

Both partners are tested. They will test his semen to test for "life" and volume (effectiveness) and they will test you to make sure your eggs are dropping and that you have no blockages preventing fertilization of the egg.

Stress does play a big factor, as does drinking and even something as simple as the type of underwear he wears may contribute to your problems. If he is not a loose fitting boxer kind of man.. get him to switch.. the free flow keeps the sperm alive and moving where as tighter undergarments diminish production.

Good luck!

For starters you have to stop stressing about falling pregnant and being worried about other parents and their children the more you worry the harder it will be to conceive because most people fall pregnant when they are least thinking of it. Like when they are on vacation relaxing and enjoying life. Now that is phsycology on the matter, now medically the family planning clinic can run tests like hormone levels they can check to see if your ovaries and tubes are ok and for you partner they can check his sperm count.

Good luck and stop stressing.

first they will check your partner's sperm to see if there is a problem with it, then if not, they will examine your uterus to make sure you haven't got any scars or lesions that could cause you to not accept a zygote, then they will check your ovaries for fertility. Of course, by then, most people are pregnant. Stop trying for a while, and see what happens in 6 months time. sometimes you just need to relax, and let nature take its course, and sometimes, you need in vitro fertilization.

I don't know how doctors test to see if there is a problem or no. The best thing you can do, is ask a doctor so you will have a 100% correct answer.

There are some pretty good ovulation predictors in the store by the pregnancy tests. Try using one of those.

And as far as your question, I don't think there is a way to not be upset. I think you will be until you conceive. Good luck.

You are confused, stressed and affraid. First get out of all these problems and then think of getting pregnent. The best I can advise you is to attend some Meditation classes and get some mental peace.
