Question

If the world were 100 people, there would be:

57 Asians
21 Europeans
14 from North and South America
8 Africans
52 would be female
48 would be male
70 would be non-white, 30 white
59% of the entire world's wealth would belong to only 6 people
and all 6 would be citizens of the United States!!!
80 would live in substandard housing
70 would be unable to read
50 would suffer from malnutrition
1 would be near death
1 would be near birth
Only 1 would have a college education
99 of them will not see this message, because only 1 would have a computer.

now my question is why dont those 6 Americans divide their whole wealth in all the other 94 citizens of this world????

you compressed earth from 6 billion to just 100... it isnt justified in any means....those 6 americans must first finish povertry from their own country first... why do i still see so many homeless people why why???.... america has power money everything but still homeless people??????

and americans are not so rich....they hardly make both ends meet the only thing that distinguishes americans from the rest of the world is that all of the educated and can do work unlike some poor indians who are illiterate and cant use computer...!

The biggest advantage americans hold is that they know ENGLISH since their birth.. and that is problem with most of the people who tries to Become english men..... LANGUAGE is the most important thing to go UP UP UP and UP.. chinese do not speak english so much.. japanese hate english.. french hates english.. spanish do not like english.... their education everything is in their own language thats why they are POWERFUL nations...

but Indians spend half of their life learning english...!!

Similar story that transends nationality but answers your questions:

In a closed system example for any country, if you were to give 100 pounds to 100 people person and then asked them again at the end of the week how much they had left?

The answer, most would have spent money on the usual stuff, food, clothes, books, whatever and be down to maybe 30 pounds.

However the few that invested their 100 pounds in buying the goods to sell on after would have collected the other monies and made profits and now be sitting on allot more than their original 100 pounds...

Simple economics which multiplied over 200 of years and with the international political system that the Americans have developed with the other countries to bring benefit to both parties...

Bottom line though, if you have earnt a pound by being understanding business you are never going to give it to someone who no longer has one as it goes against your own principles of capitolism or maybe evn simpler, profit and loss....

THe question should maybe therefore read, why did the other 94 people not see what the 6 capitalists were doing and get in on the action...in business terms "you snooze you lose!"

Maybe the other 94 should save up for a green card or even immigrate illegally and earn the money that those 6 work for. I work 3 jobs just to SURVIVE. Just remember that part of those 6 have to work as hard if not harder than the other 94. I've been homeless and because I'm white the government won't grant me welfare cause all white people are rich right? Oprah must use a great self tanner. BTW there is no NAACP equivalent for whites. It has ALOT to do with race.

Because those other 94 people should get off their butts and do something to become like us 6.

Take japan as an example. They went from zero to superpower in 60 years, with nothing, no land, no resources, only people hard work and knowledge.

The countries that are poor are that way because the leadership of them makes the choice to stay poor and the people expect a hand out insted of giving themselves a leg up.

Maybe instead of BLAMING the us for the poverty you should start LOOKING at the united states and learn WHY we are so rich compared to everyone.

Its very simple, Japan has done so, Hong Kong followed suit, Tawain jumped on the bandwagon, south korea emulates us... Wonder why these country's have so much wealth now?

Maybe we have a system that works. And it doesnt involve taking from the workers and giving to the idlers.

The value of a dollar is extremely high here. One gallon of gas here is sometimes 2 times as higher as what one adult makes in a week in third world countries.

Not only this, but whatever source you got the money and wealth info is flawed. A U.S. citizen could make $600 in a week, lets say this is average for a U.S. citizen. Some countries' average pay in a year can be less than that, such as Sri Lanka. But the quality of life is the same depending upon what is exactly "normal" for that countries' living situations. Normal in the U.S. is living a lavish lifestyle.

If an American divided their wealth to other citizens of your 100 person world, that American would be poor. You can only understand it if you live here and own properties.... you have a great argument, but it is waaaay more complex.

Why would you suggest that all six would come from America. My guess would be 2 from North America,(at least one in the US), 1 from Great Britain, 1 from Norway, 1 from Sweden, and 1 from Spain. These rich Europeans would be the Kings and Queens of Europe.

it is impossible to respond to that question via fact the Catholic Church does not function that way. while somebody donates money at their community parish, they do no longer make the inspect to "Catholic Church", yet to the community parish. each diocese works as a thoroughly self sufficient entity. Now, where did you get all these figures from? How authentic are they? Source? Do you know that there are more immigrants in American who are richer than the Americans themselves? Do you know the % of immigrants are more then Americans in top corporates? Do you know that most of America's acheivements were accomplished by immigrants there?
