This isn't really an important question, but I'll answer it nonetheless. DBZ defines cool fight scenes, but Naruto is clever and is more soulful.
Naruto characters have different ambitions, fears, and struggles. While DBZ is all about persevering even in tough situations, Naruto has that, and more.
Naruto is better.

Naruto is a really great anime as well as dragon ball z. If you want a quality fighting game, try some of the recent Dragon Ball Z Budokai games in the series. If you are a hardcore Naruto fan then there is no doubt that youll like those games. My choice: DBZ.
