He was a damn actor! He was racist, sextist, and a elitist. Just like all the other conservative clones.

Ray Gun was one of the worst presidents we've ever had. He just happened to be in the right place at the right time. People attribute the end of the Cold War to his regime. The Soviet Union would have collapsed with or without Ray Gun. What he did do is generate an enormous amount of public debt, gut the public educational system, and help ensure corporate hegemony over the American economy. You want to see the results of Ray Gun era policies? Take a look around - in the last 25 years, the country has been over run by semi-literate fundamentalist Christians and the gap between rich and poor has pushed the US to the point of becoming a banana republic. I just hope history will some day come clean about what a failure Ray Gun really was.

Sorry sweetheart, I'm pretty educated and I've known of NO ONE(especially democrats) who actually think Reagan is any where near the top of the list of best presidents. However, near the top is JFK, Franklin Roosevelt (president for 20 years, president during the depression, & WW2), Clinton (U.S. economy was booming, which is why he was never kicked out of office after the scandal)... If I recall, Reagan didn't do a whole lot except for just being at the right place at the right time when the USSR (Soviet Union) fell.... that's it.

How was he a racist? People are so paranoid and cry "RACIST" any chance they get. It's like red scare McCarthyism of the 50's or the Salem Witch Trials. People have forgotten what "racist" really means. Racism is hatred for a race or the belief that a race is genetically inferior. But the majority of accusations of racism these days do not fit that definition at all. And a person of any color can be racist.

Love Reagan! "especially, we could desire to understand that no arsenal, or no weapon interior the arsenals of the international, is so ambitious as a results of fact the want and ethical braveness of loose women and adult adult males human beings. it somewhat is a weapon our adversaries in at present's international don't have." ~ Ronald Wilson Reagan Reagan had our help. that is why the international enjoyed him. If we stated undesirable issues approximately Reagan why does no longer anybody else? a similar is acceptable at present.

I don't think any of those terms, with the possible exception of "elitist" really apply. Most people though are looking back living through his presidency with rose colored glasses. He was a good president, by most accepted standards, but doesn't compare in my mind to a Roosevelt or an Eisenhower.

He fixed our economy. Ended the cold war by taking down the Soviet Union without firing a shot. He was a positive and a all around good leader and you can thank him for all the wealth in the 90's. Policies acted upon take a while to take effect. Clinton's are taking effect now.

He wasn't a real elitist. You should at least be part of the elite to be an elitist. He wasn't. His wife perhaps.

In all fairness, I think he meant well. But that shouldn't be an excuse.

You are 15 years old. Reagan was out of office for 3 years before you were born. What do you know about Reagan?
