What is the recommended frequency of feeding? He doesn't have difficulty with eating and are not very picky with what he eats usually. I'm worried that he is not getting enough.

1 adult mouse , once per week. He should have been off fuzzies a long time ago. After he grows a little more, he could probably handle 2 mice a week. No ball python will ever need a rabbit.
We have balls that are just a few months old eating adult mice.

Once a week is normal. Ball pythons are not as big as some other pythons. Some only get 4 feet long as adults. At a year old it's probably OK to feed him adult mice now. The mouse can be a little bit bigger around than the snakes body at the snakes widest point. Not the snakes head but the body. If your going to feed him adult mice they should be pre killed to protect your snake from injury.

Jen's answer is right on. And don't be surprised if you Ball Pyhton stops eating for a while either. They can go for months without eating> I had a Ball that stopped eating for 5 1/3 months acouple of yrs ago. I offered food prekilled and live but she just ignored it, then one day I offered and she ate. It is common as I have been told and read. But my Ball Pyhtins have never gotten much bigger than 4ft. My Columbian Boa though eats steady and she is about 6ft now. 2 -4 rats monthly depending on the size of the ra.

You want to feed corns like most any other snake. An appropriately sized meal once every 7-10 days.

feed him 2 small mice every 20 days and enjoy. a ball python can last 40 years sooooo relax and let it grow at it's own rate but.. you are over feeding slow down !! or it will refuse to eat later ( trust me ) they will only grow to about 5 feet soooo it takes time when it will live so long and grow so short

well the ball python is not one of the monster constrictors. But it does seem like he should be getting bigger the last one i had averaged about 1 foot per year and i just feed him once a week until he moved on to bigger pray then once every 2 weeks.

My cousin has a snake and she only needs to feed him once a month. But it might depend on what animal you feed it. Get some rabbits, baby!
