I think I had this dream when I was in 5th grade, this is what it was about (I swear it could be made into a mini action sci-fi movie! LOL):

The dream started in a strange underground place, I came in from the top it was a field felt like somewhere in the Midwest and seemed to be a military facility. There was a big whole in the ground that lead to an underground facility. I had just snuck into that place. I was walking down the huge hallway. I was the same age as I was in reality at that time. Ok, so this hallway it had bright lights over head but you could barely see beside you, there were cages and shadows of figures in those shadows. I kept walking down that hallway for awhile amazed at the strange things I was seeing for the first time. In the shadows of the light where all the jail like cages was, they were over flooded of people in them, but after looking harder they weren’t people at all.

They were strange some looked human like and some not at all. They seemed to be captured aliens (at least that’s my guess while I was in my dream). At first I wasn’t sure what I was to do down there. But some how I ended up talking to one of those strange beings, they told me how they were captured and they’re plight, like how they were used against their will. I some how ended up opening all the doors/gates to the cages and all the strange creatures came out. That’s when I remembered why I was down there in the first place. It seemed I was down there so I could get them out, as if I already knew they were down there and that’s why I snuck in, in the first place.

After releasing them the alarm went off, and all the lights were flickering and what not. I ended up going first back out the big hole in the ground even though there were attempts to close it (it looked like a draw bridge thingy, like the door to the hole was made of a cement and was being drawn to shut close), and the creatures came afterwards.

There was helicopters and stuff flying around trying to stop us. At times the helicopters and armed forces seemed to be more concerned about me then the freed beings, at least it seemed like that at times and the fact that it seemed like we were running through a mine field. It felt like they didn’t care if anyone got hurt, but couldn’t afford for me to get hurt, but they were suppose to be stopping me though(so I never understood why they wouldn’t want to stop me or shoot me for what I just did).

It was strange indeed. For some reason they were scared to shoot at anybody, so we kept running, and we somehow avoided the mine field bombs. We helped each other over the fence and wires, and still avoided the troops on the ground somehow. After getting off the base they kept running and seemed to get away because they disappeared. I was left all alone in the field to get back on my own; I looked back at the base and saw they are still going crazy over there from the break. They didn’t seem to be coming after me, so I proceeded to leave, where ever I was going to I didn’t know. I was walking, and then I woke up from my dream.

"Yourself

To see yourself in your dream, is a reflection of how you act and behave in your waking life. "

I always dream like that, it's like watching a movie with me in it. Does that mean anything? Why do I always dream like that, and not in first person?

hammy. sounds like you are trying to release an inner secret of your own or someone elses secret that maybe strange to others. Are you a closet eater, or lying about something? It could mean you're hiding something but your conscious wants to set it free, The reason that those thing resemble aliens is probably because what ever it is you're feeling may seem unfamiliar to you or you might think others will feel it is strange.

This is simple, you were Gods angel sent to a hell of ashes to witness the souls that were taken by Satan and as you followed the hallway you were unfamiliar with the things you were seeing but all the while showing compassion for the wrongly taken... So the captured souls you helped to release where your friends and family and the reason you felt strange that they wasn't after you was because as I said in the beginning "You were Gods Angel who brought deliverance or maybe a second chance to follow the lighted path from which was not lights just shimmering reflections of "The Golden Gates" wow you are a inspired favorite thank you I needed that! Good Luck and God Bless!

Your subconcious mind just enterpreted your school that you go to.

It mixed it with teachers as being the military. People that have power over you. Your brain chose the military due to the fact you see so much of it on the news. Your brain saw a similarity.

The cages were your class rooms in your school. They were lined up on each side of the hallway, just like in school. You wanted to free all the students so they could get out of school.

They appeared cas aliens because teens spend a lot of time worshiping them, talking about them and ALSO, SOME of the students ARE strangers to you. You don't know ALL of them, so your brain filled in all the blanks.

Why they were not shooting at you, is because your subconcious mind KNOWS that a teacher would not shoot YOU but they might shoot a person or being that might harm YOU!

Yeah, dreams are funny that way.

We ALL have whacky dreams like that.

I used to study dream analysis. I love it.

You were just acting out your emotions of school in your dream!

I hope this helps! Good dream! Fascinating!

Your dream sounds as if you are really concerned about the events in our world (ie, watching CNN and possibly falling asleep during the news) and maybe you're bombarded with the information age, how we can receive news at a second's notice.
Perhaps you're on a quest to find an answer to something.

The tunnel and seeing people as if they're in jails--perhaps it is a darkening of the heart. It is as if you're viewing some horrific acts and such and it is touching you. Maybe you want to liberate something, someone. Seems like you're working in the dark, on the sly to help and you fear someone's onto you. You're concerned about being found out or your good works being discovered by a darkening force.

Sounds like to me that you're an adventurer and up for a challenge. Maybe you're disillusioned with your work right now and want to branch into something that satisfies your curiosities and help a segment of people who needs an activist.

So you say this is a recurring dream, or not? Unclear. I will tell you this: You are a part of those flood of people, that are not people. They have lived here before, and have lived on other planets. They were human once, just as you and I are human today.
For the rest of the interpretation, I would need to know more about you. It could have reference to the underground people, the common man, 80% of the population. It could also reference a great war coming.

Underground
To dream that you live underground, symbolizes loss of fortune and reputation and the desire for greater security and peace of mind. You may be pushing thoughts and issues into your subconscious mind.

To dream that you are riding in an underground railway, signifies anxiety and distress arising from a peculiar activity.
Tunnel
To see a tunnel in your dream, represents the vagina, womb, and birth. Thus it may refer to a need for security and nurturance.

To dream that you are going through a tunnel, suggests that you are exploring aspects of your unconscious. You are opening yourself to a brand new awareness. Alternatively, it indicates your limited perspective.

To see the light at the end of a tunnel, symbolizes hope.
