I think it would be called something else other than midlife crisis at 18, especially since midlife crisis is wishing you still were 18 but now you have the money to do something about it. You won't die young!

You can't have a midlife crisis at 18. That's the phase where you, in the middle of your life, act like a teenager/young adult. You are both. Therefore, you are acting your age and not having a midlife crisis at all!

Midlife crisis at 18?
I though it started at 40.
U are just feeling depressed now as U are soon to be an adult in few years with all the respnsiblilies and wondering how your childhood times went to!

Go out with friends to chill out and would sure feel better than staying at home =)

Since people don't expect people to die at/before age 36; whatever you're going thru wouldn't be "named" a midlife crisis...people would most likely call it a depression or something. Midlife crisis usually refers to people who are about 40ish because people consider to be half a lifetime.

Technically, it all depends on when you're going to die (and since no one really knows that...forget the technicalities and feel better :-)

It means you're 18 and going through a natural terrifying transition. Don't worry, you're normal and this isn't a midlife crisis. You'll get through this and learn to deal with it all.

You're over-reacting. Whatever is happening is not a true midlife crisis. Just try to relax and take care in making your situation better. Good luck!

Maybe..you know one can worry themself to death...Really. But I don't think someone can have a midlife crisis at 18. Do some yoga...eat some delicious food....breathe..get some sleep..you're going to be fine.
