you take a crap?

Do you ever use the restroom at night or in the evening, and then because you want to get fully clean and not just that general I wiped and therefore I am reasonably clean state just jump in the shower and take a bath.

This is the one vulgar bodily functions questions I am going to be so shameless as to post.

make that question

I didn't say every time. I just said sometimes. Mainly it is because it seems so convenient to just strip down and take a shower and get really clean and then dry off and put on some clean clothes and just be super clean.

That's dirty? What? I am being dead serious. I actually do like to just take a shower sometimes.

Wet wipes? I actually carry those when I go backpacking. I have to pack them out in a ziplock so I don't leave trash in the backcountry, but I love to not be as filthy as I can be after 5 days out in the middle of the mountains.

gillmoni13 actually has a really good point. Actually my skin feels really dry sometimes if I shower a second time during the day.

Sexual Abuse??? I do this like once every two weeks on average because sometimes I like the way it feels to just get really really clean.

Lady, sh*t is dirty whether you have been sexually abused or not.

Tory Locker totally gets what I am after. The thing about no TP is right on point.

And sometimes it just seems so much easier than wiping.

I have done that too Bharat B.

One time, on a backpacking trip in southern Utah, I had gone on a side trip and left my pack behind. While I was hiking aroung I had to take a dump, and so I just found a place well away from any trails and squatted. There was no toilet paper or anything like that so I used stones. It was all sandstone so it was a little abrasive and my hand were getting crap on them, so I dug some dirt up and washed my hands this way. Later I washed them more thoroughly.

I always squat over toilet seats, so I know exactly what you are talking about with the strong legs and hips.

Dude, I totally do that!!! If I am out of TP, or it was a really messy one, boom, I will jump in the shower. Don't listen to these silly people.

Here in India, we dont use tissue at all. We wash with water, then rinse the hands with soap. In western toilets the water jet is at hand. In Indian closets we have to squat, and this is a form of excercise. The squatting is like Yoga, with calf & thigh muscles and ankles & knee pulled taut & flexed.

In villages, open ground is used, with two bricks servcing as footstands. If soap is not available, hands are rubbed with mud, and rinsed.

No, but I keep wet ones/wipes around, I think a shower/bath a day is enough, because you can wash away all the good oils out of your skin

Not me.

After wiping the conventional way, try finishing the clean-up by using Wet Wipes (or your store's generic version). They're soapy so you can bathe your butt with them, they're flushable, and you can use 15 of them if you want. They would be a real timesaver over a shower or bath.

No, but I often wish that bidets would make a comeback. There is something more civilized about being able to actually wash one's self rather than grabbing the Charmin and hoping for the best.

It sounds like you were sexually abused as a child and feel that normal bodily functions are gross. That isn't healthy to be ashamed to have bowel movements. If you weren't abused, you were made ashamed as a young child and never learnd that it's normal to get rid of foods we eat. Seek psycho therapy and tell the therapist exactly what you've written here. He/she will be able to help you if you really want help and if this is a true question, not one made up.
