Just came back from the Dr... She says tat my X-rays show white spots in my left lung. and I've to go for another scan in 3mths time... Wat could've cause the white spot? Any ideas guys/gals? I'm getting worried here..........

Did you get a CT scan or X ray or both? It doesn't matter really. The radiologist saw multiple nodules likely very small and recommend you get a follow up scan in 3 months (and likely in 6,12 and 24 months)to make sure they are stable. They are likely to be from prior infection such as fungal, atypical, tb and less likely due to metastatic disease.

Can't say for certain because it's only a description of what the radiologist saw - sounds like numerous similar nodules (small round structures) all through the lungs. It's not a diagnosis of a specific condition. But honestly, it doesn't sound good - brings to mind tuberculosis or scattered metastatic tumors. You'll have to talk it over with your Dr.

U have a nodule that they have no basis for the origin and they don't think is serious.
