windows media player help for viewing downloaded movies?

when i try to play a certain downloaded video on windows media it doesnt work. You can here the sound but there is no picture. It says there is a code required to play and if there is a code available to unlock look on the web. What do i do?

It's asking for a codec ... not a code... A codec is a coder/decoder.

Try downloading the XVID codec and installing it:
