and do u htink changeing it to solos is gonna help the contestants? i think some of them work better in couples.

I think either Ivan or Allison should win. That number they did last week made ME want to cry!! Splitting the couples up was indeed sad, but they now need to find out of the ones that remain in the competition if they are truly versatile with new partners.

The ones that I am most impressed with so far are: Travis, Allison, and Benji. They seem to be able to dance whatever they draw. And Ivan blew me away with his performance last week! I think the solos will be good for most of them...though I think it may hurt Dmitry. They will still dance with a partner for two performances and then they will each dance a solo. What I like is that each performer will get their own votes. There sure are some talented dancers on the show this year, it will get interesting.

Of course they have to split the couples in order to have only one winner. The whole idea of the show is for the dancers to be able to perform as well as part of a couple as it is for them to dance alone.
As for a winner, I missed a couple of the shows, so I can't say for sure. It's really hard to pick this year! They are all so talented. I hope this show stays on the air a long time. I love it!
