want to put 93 tarus engine into a 92 ford taurus

this wont help...but in my opinion the ford 3.8 is the worst engine ever made, except for the gm quad-4...what a piece

I don't think that will work the mounting is probably diff. Call a Ford dealership to find out, they will know. I have a windstar van w/ a 3.8 and it needs a new motor everyone that I've talked said that's the only motor that will fit.

I'm not a mechanic but i think that if it fits because the younger model sound like a bigger engine

It should fit just fine consider both years came with either engine.

i think so.check were the engine mounts.
