We have had a La-Z-Boy sofa bed for 16 years and it is very comfortable to this day. Guests have also commented on the comfort. In fact, when we have a lot of family come over they fight over who gets the sofa bed over a traditional bed!

I bought a house back in 1993 had a Castro Convertable sofabed left in it and was so comfortable. This sofa was old then. We used it for a regular bed for awhile. Futons are very uncomfortable.

i have had friends buy a sofa/sleeper from jennifer convertables. i don't know if you have them near you. they said they were very comfortable. good luck
