I would imagine if your wife has disappeared for some time, you should be able to easily get a divorce. Contact a lawyer.

yes, you will have to get a lawyer and it will be printed in your local paper for 30 days that the whereabouts is unknown. you know that they can't say that you are lying about where she is and wants a divorce without her knowing about it.
