Either it's for theatrics for the show of just something overlooked when choreographing the acting-like forgetting that Superman doesn't need to do that when a gun is thrown at him.
Mistakes and inconsistencies happen all the time in script writing and choreography.

He thought the gun was pretty and wanted to add it to his collection that he has taken from villans. So if he, being the man of steel, damges the gun... he wouldn't be able to sell it to his other hommies, like The Punisher for instance. The Punisher dosen't want damaged goods!

because he takes the bullets so that he protects those behind him, and with a gun being thrown. it is not a serious threat.. and he has to show his speed by being able to dodge, not just take everything.

because of the fact deep down, superman anit nothin yet a scared little guy. now, in case you want somebody thats somewhat invinceible, attempt a Vampire or Lycan, they cant die (the full silver bullets element doesnt artwork.)

Because he doesn't like to look at guns, as he is so pacific and likes the good stuff, not the bad stuff...... or I don't know, ask the director and the writers of the movie!!!
