what does it mean when my boyfriend tell me he need his spsce sometimes but he want to be with me.

Maybe he needs some space. Guys tend to feel trapped, when a girl becomes too clingy. Give him the space he needs. Find a hobby, or other activity that does not include him. Then you will have something to share when you see him again.
Don't sit around the house and wait for him either. Get together with a freind you may have lost contact with, do lunch, go shopping, or something else you enjoy. Have fun. It can be liberating.

He is telling you that he doesn't want to be with you but he is just saying it in a nice way. You need to talk to him about it.
