Now I know the official reason is that two soldiers getting kidnapped. Forgive my cynicism, but that reminds me of the USA using 9/11 as a pretense for war with Iraq.

The main reason, Israel and its alliances need always a conflict in Middle East. US need to sell their arms effectively as well as some of the richest Arab nations expecting more hike in oil price through the war. So, if there is possibility to solve the crisis, they are not ready to solve the crisis. The bombarding in Lebanon is only a key for that.
Once in India, The British Empire has adopted a strategy i.e. "Divide and Rule". The same proportion is effectevely adopting over Middle East by US and their alliances. They are fearing China, India and Iran, and US need to force back the development of these countries.

Israel just wants to be left alone. I havent heard anyway saying anything positive about Israel giving Gaza back. Everything was very calm and these Terrorist groups decided that they didnt like Israel giving a little back peacfully. The world has seen first hand Israel gives a littel back and these animals want more. Israel has as much right to exhist as any other country and they want peace. It is the uneducated Muslims that keep pushing. What would America do if a neighbor come into our country and kidnapped one or two of our soldiers. We would do the same. As far as civilians go Israel dropped leaflets and allowed them to leave. It isnt Israels fault for the civilian deaths. This war can be blamed on the Muslims as usual. To think that the world is on the brink or World War because of a religion as back words as Islam!!!!!
The World would be so much more peacful without groups like Hellbollah and Hamas and Al Queda. So I say let Israel lose!!!!!!!!

Lebanon does not have a government to speak of. Hezbollah the terrorist organization is running things there.
Hezbollah conducted raids into Israel to kidnap soldiers and showed a level of expertise and organization that Israel is not comfortable with.
Hezbollah is a terrorist organization.
So the Lebanese can thank Hezbollah.
I don't hear a whole lot of protest from the neighboring Middle East countries about this.
They are usually more vocal.

Israel is plain evil, they still teach their youth about how the germans screwed them in the past, they keep feeding that revenge feeling and thats just the top of the iceberg, they have trouble to live along with arabs, thats for the gov, but the people is a little cocky too.
I wanna make clear that I dont have anithing against Israel or its religion, is just the way I look at it as an outsider period.

Isreal is mad as hell and ain't taking it anymore... more or less. That's the agenda, they are wearing their hearts on their sleeves on this one. Which is why a lot of people are baffled because Isreal has traditionally shown a fair amount of restraint in the past. (ie in Gulf War One, they didn't attack Iraq even though scuds were landing in Tel Aviv daily)

israel has blowen things way out of proportion killing hundreds of innocent civilians, women and children, because of the capture of two SOLIDERS. its not right, it is unjust, thats is what people will see. you are right, it is like 9-11, except bush knew 911 was goin to happen and just let it to have an excuse. the world is going to end...say your prayers
