They all come in different skin colors, but one thing that most Asian women I've seen have in common is nice, clear, healthy looking skin. Is it a gene pool thing, or is it just because they have healthier diets?

I was talking about Asian women, not American women of Asian descent. They have as just as many zits as anyone. Of course now over in Asia they have KFC lol.

it's definitely not a healthier diet (they eat rice with almost every meal..LOTS of carbs). i think it runs in the genes of asian women (i'm half, my mom is full korean). i had clear skin until i got into high school but my mom has always had it. asian girls always have smoother skins than guys..trust me im jealous of them too haha

I've seen a lot of asians with acne problems...huge acne problems. I don't but I do get the occasional zit and I am an eczema sufferer. My genetics aren't that great but my skin is usually pretty good.

I have no idea. My skin isn't great or anything. It's "nice" as in I don't get visible acne, but I need to moisturize just like anyone else or my cheeks get seriously dry. As for my diet, I only occasionally eat Asian food. I mostly stick with regular American.

you will see some Asian with bad skin, like acne and stuff.I think it is our diet. Most Asain foods tend to be fresher and healthier .If you go to the Rural parts of Asian countries you will see people will bad skin, because of the long sun exposure. Some Asian has good skin because they spend a lot of money on skin care products, like my mom who is Asain.I have better skin because I wash my face with Marigold, this is the best thing to wash your face with.Contact me if you want to learn more.

well this works for me and I have many problems with my face, you get some marigold flowers, peel it so you get all the petal and boil it in some water and keep it in the refigerator,it last for about 4 days.Just after you wash your face, take some cotton and dip the marigold soultion and rub it all over your face, like a face toner.Do this twice a day,you will see results very soon.
directions:
1 marigold flower any size
6 table spoon of water
take the petal and boil it in water until you see bubbles
store it in a container and keep it in the frige, last for 4 days

definitely a better diet, both physical (fresh food) and psycho-spiritual, combined with genetics.

we know what is good for us and try not to mess up with the balance. when there is an imbalance, it inevitably takes a toll on our body.

case in point, i had clear skin up until i started harboring anger and resentment which caused imbalances in my liver's energy which then manifested on my skin. the moment i let go of my anger, my skin cleared. of course, i didn't relate anger with liver and acne until i studied a bit of Traditional Chinese Medicine. i still have the scars to remind me not to let resentments brew in me ever again.
