Okay, so we know lots of people give stupid answers to questions here and you have to admit some of them are amusing. what I'd like to know is do you find these sort of answers amusing OR people who misread the question and give a completely irrelevant answer to the question? which is more amusing to you?

I much prefer the stupid answers ... because at least they may have understood the question - even if they are incapable of giving an intelligent reply..( which makes it rather amusing).now in the 2nd case.. the person never even understood the question to begin with yet decided to answer it...with some unrelated reply.. hence leading me to suspect they are either too stupid to read, or can read but not comprehend or they are simply psychotic.....which would be amusing if it wasn't so scary...lol..

Yeah those are both pretty amusing...but the ones i find the most amusing are the ones where the answerer puts his answer in the wrong question..an example is if there is a question like "what is the average penis size?" and the answerer names every single member of the brady bunch and who played them..im thinking..what the f***??

Hey, I am one of those people who write about stuff the question aint about. I cant help it. I am usually drunk and stoned when Im on this board. Do you realize that I have several tabs open and I am multitasking? Ive got a good 4% best answers rate, pretty good I think. Sometimes I do dumb down my answer to a question based on the level I think the question asker is at. Like if its a stoopid question, I give a stupid answer in hope of getting 10 points. I heard soon you're going to be able to trade in your points for free buffet at Shoneys. God Bless America. And Walmart.

there both very amusing, depends on the question, sometimes it's funnier when someone just gives the stupid answer and sometimes it's great to read the answer of someone who didn't understand, however I do feel bad for those people sometimes.
Umm wait Where was I?

I must admit that I can be one of these misreaders hopefully not as often as others but still in contension. But I really do love the funny responses if I laugh out loud even better, but when i have to share with my husband the tardos that I see they get 10 in my book.

Sometimes I can't find mine either. I wonder if it's because I'm getting old. Once I do find it, it is amusing to a degree, yes. On rare occasions, I even have to pee just to know where it is! I can't even feel a fruit loop anymore!!! AMUSING???!!!

I guess we should all find humor in our misfortunes.

Should I say- the latter of your question??

Hmm... interesting. I often find sarcastic humor to silly questions the most effective in terms of the "haha" factor, lol.
And like you mentioned, there're some who don't read the details that come with questions, giving out answers that mean nothing whatsoever.
It all depends on content though. Ultimately, I'd go with my first choice.

I guess the idiot questions are more amusing. I've gotten best answers from people who were too stupid to reallize I was making fun of them.

I like the irrelevant or random answers. One of the funniest I've seen (to a long-winded post about some ethical issue) was "mashed potatoes".
