I know that when you are putting on new strings, the strings can stretch, but with these strings... I put it on and tried to tune it. it stretched, so I tuned it tighter. It stretched. I tuned it tighter. This repeated many times, resulting in it still being too flat, and the string snapped. Is it just the weather, or what?

Yeah you should probably try a heavier gauge. Maybe try tuning a little slower while the strings stretch out.

It's not the string stretching, it's something giving up the slack on your guitar itself, could be your tuning pegs or your saddle, if the guitar has little pins that you push into hold the round end of the strings in. Stupid thoughts, but be sure that you're getting acoustic guitar and not electic strings... also that you're tuning them to the proper pitch (eg A440) and not too high.

Thet are too tight! What pitch are you tuning it too? Do you have an electronic guitar tuner? If not, I suggest you buy or borrow one! If you have one, you're not using it correctly! Also, what guage strings are you using? You might try a little heavier!

Are these new strings? are you sure you know what you're doing? Can you ask someone for help?

I would be able to help but its better to help in person. Its hard to tell what's really happening. It also depends on what kind of bridge you have. It's hard to determine this.
