if you're asking, why do kids participate in leisure activities - it could be a number of reasons.........parents want them to have a structured daily activity -- something to do so they aren't home rotting their minds with the fun stuff, like MTV or worse yet - the Lifetime Movie Network -- yikes - they'd die of boredom. Lemmesee -- they do it because they have an interest in something - like music -- or maybe it was their parent's interest/dream, and the kids are being asked to live their life for their parent's viacarious thrill; it keeps them out of trouble - ok, i already said that....well, sometimes activities are cheaper for parents than the babysitter is. But, those are all cynical. I would hope kids participate in leisure activities 'cuz it is something that truly rocks their world, and that's they way it oughta be.

I'm not sure what your question is, but I'm guessing you're talking about teachers 'dating' students? It never works out well, just say no...
