No. That's like saying someone should blame themselves for being male or female, or black or white. Some people think being gay is a choice. I think it's a hell of a lot more complicated than that. If it were just "a choice", wouldn't most "choose" then to be straight, since we live in a world that tends to "hate" gays and treat them like "freaks of nature"? No, I'm not even gay and I personally think that gays are genetically or biochemically predisposed to their preferences, with no more "choice" in the matter than their gender or their race.
I do think, however, that some gays may be "confused" as to their true sexuality... but they are the few. Those people are likely to have been mistreated or abused by the opposite sex, and have become afraid or repulsed then by sexually associating with those of the opposite gender- thereby turning to their own gender for the comfort and intimacy they can't (or haven't been able to) find anyplace else.
This is just my opinion.

No. First off, there's nothing wrong with being gay, so there's no reason anyone at all should be blamed for it. But beyond that, being gay isn't a choice, and it isn't a disease. You can't control who you're attracted too, and you shouldn't feel bad about it.
At this point, scientists haven't figured out exactly what "causes" certain people to be gay, but in animals there's definitely a genetic component, so there's a good chance there is in humans as well. It's likely that childhood experiences also factor into it, but again, no one knows exactly how (and anyone who tells you otherwise is full of ****), so there's no way to say who caused it. Given that people don't know what causes people to be gay, it doesn't make sense to try to "blame" anyone for it.
But one this is certain: being gay is NOT a choice. You can chose to come out or not, but you can't choose to be gay or straight. A person's sexual orientation is part of their fundamental personality, and no matter how it came to be that way, it's not something they can control.

I am not Gay nor do I find their lifestyle attractive in any way. However, I can't understand why people just don't leave them alone. Why should there be a feeling of guilt if you are doing nothing wrong? The Bible Bangers need to be rounded up and stuck in one part of the country with a big wall around the place. They can then screw themselves up all they want.

They should if they would also blame themselves for being tall, or being born with red hair. It's a simple matter of biology.
Of course, if you're a religious person, you could blame God.

It is the religious right, which mostly encompasses Republicans. Pat Robertson, of the 700 Club blames natural disasters, 9/11, and other things on both gays and feminists.

Blame is the assignment of responsibility from one entity to another. Blaming is the action of assigning this blame to another, often from oneself. These activities seem basic to hominid behaviour
**********************************************************************
Reasons Why?
Strong science showing that you are born this way. Their is a bean shape part of the brain that is the same size of women in gay males.
How does this happen?
All babies, YES all babies are first started as FEMALES!!! For roughly first 3-4 monthes then change to male (Y) if there is a lack of the rest of the genes needed to be female (x)
If the mother is stress out roughly in 3 to 4 month when the baby is doing sexual gene stuff, the mother will cut hormones which changes the babies genes strains for sexual develpment due to the lack of hormones needed at this stage.
THIS WHAT MAKES THEM GAY!!! NO ONE IS TO BLAME HERE, IT JUST HAPPENS & the world is much prettier because of it!!! :) :)
**********************************************************************
Famous WWII study that followed 0-25ish age & seen a higher level of gay males because added stress due to the war!!! Think of it this way it is natures way of stopping wars. :)
**********************************************************************
Rats also place in very close quaters & high population some will become gay. Think of it as natures way of population control.
*********************************************************************
From Wikipedia:
This list includes animals for which there is documented evidence of homosexual or transgender behavior of one or more of the following kinds: sex, courtship, affection, pair bonding, or parenting.
There are currently 478 different species on this list.
**********************************************************************
Twins studies. I lot of twins one will be gay & other straight.
How is this?
One in one part of the womb & the other in different part. The hormone thing comes into play here again. One twin gets the right level & the other one doesn't.
**********************************************************************
Their not enough info out their about Lesbians & there should be more studies done.
**********************************************************************
No blame to them it's really not a true choice. They are set up mentality & physical to be this way for better or for worst depends on the way person see themselves & how they let others tell them how to see themselves!!!
**********************************************************************
If you feel you are this way the faster you start to Love yourself the better off you will be, trust me on this. I know from personal experience being Bi. (But that's a whole other ball game to talk/write about other time)

No absolutely not. That's ridiculous. You are attracted to what you are attracted to, you can't control it. I'm straight, but I can't tell myself to be attracted to a guy just because he's nice and has a good personality, even if I think I should be attracted to him. I can't force myself to be a lesbian either - although sometimes it has seemed like it might be for the better, seeing the guys I've dated. Just kidding. You know what I'm saying though - you like what you like - music, food, people etc. You can't make yourself like what you don't.

who else would you blame...it would be wrong to blame someone else they didn't make you that way...if that was the case then you could make yourself straight again...it's only the fault of the person themselves.

No, if thats how u feel inside, then be yourself. God wont be mad, he's all knowing and all mighty. So that means he knew before he made us that some people would turn out to be gay.
