I enjoy watching "Sex and the City." But it isn't for everyone. Especially men in my opinion. The things they do in the show are hilarious, but I can see why they wouldn't be to a man. It's according. I watch it because it is meant for entertainment, and it makes me laugh, plus I do not take it seriously. (I'm referring to the things they do, and the things they say.) If every one really carried on that way, everybody in the world would have STD's. My husband tried to watch it, and was totally bored, so you really have to make your own judgment about whether or not it is worth watching.

SATC is an amazing show. From the amazing acting to the intensely intelligent humor, the show is one of the best that has been on in recent years. Men usually find it more difficult to understand because a lot of the plot is based around the way women feel about relationships, but I know guys that truly enjoy the intelligence of the show. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys good TV!

Sex and the City and Desperate Housewives is a show written for and by gay men. Both shows use straight women who are basically talking about gay issues.
But keep watching, it seems like your kind of show.

All in all, it depends on whether if you actually enjoy the show if you watch it. We don't all like the same things, so, if you like it-Yes. If it doesn't entertain you-No.
