horny actually means more then one thing!
1) having horns or hornlike projections
2) made of horn or similar substance
3) tough and calloused
4) VULGAR SLANG-a) desirous of sexual actions
b) sexually aroused
So now you can say that someone is horny but rather the you meaning it in a sexual way it can be a simple comment about an object that has horns or a hornlike substance! Now you know!!! so after this you should be able to look back and think of how the word was used in a sentence at the time that you heard it and you should be able to pick out which defintion of the word would best fit their statement.
