One of my friends been weightlifting for a while and recently had to have surgery because of an injury he sustained. Since he was hooked on an iv and afterwards released, he said it seems like the iv created greater veins on his hand. He was trying to find a way to reduce the bulging veins on his hand especially on one arm it goes from his hand down his forearm. I have actually researched on a website that does treatment for this: http://www.sovein.net/index.html. They say that miniphlebectomy and an innovative endovenous LASER treatment are safe procedures. Has anyone tried any of these methods and are they safe for your health in the long run. And if possible does anyone know the price of this such procedure? If any one can help with this or has additional information please help it would be greatly appreciated.

You see..maybe I couldn't help you that much but yes there is a laser procedure for that but it will not 100% sure if it will be okay later on. I mean..veins are veins..they are there for an imporatnt reason..to suuply blood and all the necessary components of the body. What do lasers do? One laser I know will just improve the valves of the veins and will improve the look but it will not be surgically removed (like it is tottaly gone). Those bulges where brought about by working out. They may look cosmetically ygly but they are essential. Anyway..hope this helps.

Actually, many women complain that their hands appear older than their real age! One of the most common cause for the aging look of hands is unsightly bulging veins. The causes of these bulging veins are usually genetic and related to a gradual increase in size of the veins over a period of years combined with thinning of the overlying skin.
