HCl
H= Hydrogen
Cl= Chlorine
H ion has -1 charges while Cl ion has -7 charges.
Hence, covalent bonding is in them and thats why the whole equation is HCl unlike Copper Sulphate which is CuSO4.
Hence, HCl stands for Hydrocloric Acid.
