Look I love magic tricks when I know that they are tricks but when I see people like Chris angel and David Blaine it makes me uncomfortable because it is not natural. It scares me to the point where I can't watch. But I would not go so far to say devil inspired (well Chris Angel maybe)

ALL magic shows are based on science and psychology. The magician plays with your assumptions and expectations.

Most magic is pretty lame when you know how it was done. The whole 'levitate a few inches from the ground trick' can be done a couple different ways, and the two best ways only trick you if you are at just the right angle.

It takes lots of practice (and in some cases natural skill and/or money) but almost anyone can do most of the magic you see on TV.

When magicians do add a 'supernatural' theme or element, it is just showmanship.

Aside from simple parlor tricks and sideshow magic: People who feel that way are the same people who profess faith, go to church every Sunday, but don't want to see any real miracles, for fear that they might be magic. Down through history, some individuals, who are spiritually advanced, manifest what could be called "magic" or miracles. They have been either punished, shunned, or in some cases, burned as witches. Makes one wonder that if Jesus came back today, and began doing miracles, would he be accused of black magic, and witchcraft, or hunted down and cast out. And what of Moses? He would most likely be stoned, or burned at the stake. More spiritual awakening (by the masses) is required to be able to finally accept the fact that there are "more things in Heaven and Earth, than our dreamed of in our philosophies". Only then will we realize our full potential, and understand our true place in the Cosmos.

It's that same kinda nonsense that had all those religious whackos burn all those women at the stake.

They also made a come back during the 80s to try and ban cartoons like the Smurfs (I am not kidding) because they thought Papa Smurf was corrupting the minds of children everytime he opened a spell book, lit some candles in his lab, and did some hand gesturing.

That's how deeply disturbing the Catholic church and Christians are. To attack something that least threatens them, as always.

There is a saying.....the best liars make the best magicians.....
I enjoy magic tricks as much as the next person. But purely for the entertainment value.
But to trick or deceive someone from the heart, is not just creepy but hateful.

the type things you saw in so called magic shows is illusion.
then there are people that are called satinists.that believe in doing harm to others(bullies for the most part)or very insecre people that need to lord it over others through fear.
pagans, witchs and the like do not beleive in the devil or worship him. they do believe in evil though. most of it caused by normal(?)people.
NONE can copy the greatest magic(if you will pardon the langugage)that was ever made creating yourself out of nothing and then creating a physical world.

Come on people, it isn't evil, magic is all tricks.
My brother is a magician, Banachek, he has worked with Criss Angel, he's not evil. Look up James Randi, he has for years been debunking people or go to my brothers site www.banachek.org.

Slight of hand, the ability to misdirect ones focus of attention, and the art of illusion. It certainly does not take Satan to accomplish these tasks. Any average human can learn, practice, and master these skills.

depends on the source. Jesus said that whatever is not of God is of the devil, so if David Blaine does not get his inspiration from Him, then you know the rest.

Tricks. I don't know how they do it sometimes. But it's still an illusion. Are you thinking about Chriss Angel?
