Married here . . . benn with my guy for 21 years. He and I made similar amounts when we got married, but he lost his job when I was pregnant with our first child. He has been a stay at home dad for the past 10 and1/2 years, allowing me to work and secure promotions while taking the worry about my kids being raised by day-care out of the picture . . . so, I met him and fell in love, married for love and stayed together for love . . . but, as you can tell by his dedication to our family and support of me and my goals, the feelings are mutual. Here's to love!

I would be lying if I said for love not money because at some point you do want to live comfortably even if NOT keeping up appearances.
And I'm not talking 'bout having a posh lifestyle with the mansion, cars & bling-bling... just enough to get you through retirement.
Realistically, if you married for love and you have kids, how certain are you that they will care for you when you're much older?
I hope to have both - love & money but sadly money does talk and it wins ultimately.

I will marry for love. But I will also marry smart. I will talk to my husband about many things, including our ideas on money, working, and managing money before we get married. So many marriages end because of money problems, so it's important to have a plan and communicate well. I would never marry for money...I would feel like I sold my soul when I know fine well I could take care of myself financially and be happier.

I always wanted to marry for love. But, because I got my heart broken, now I think that I am looking to marry for money. Maybe love will develop. At least I could travel & golf to pass the time.

Already married and we have never had alot of money but anyone else would be a true waste of my time. You can't buy love so why do you need the money?
