I don't know, but they harm not only themselves, but unborn children. Sterilize the bitches.

If the person consumes drugs which are illegal it is supposed that the law has to arrest her. But also it could be considered as an abbortion due to the fact that the drugs can kill the baby (everything the mother takes goes diretly to the baby) so if that's illegal in your country the law should have stepped a long time ago.

Each state is different, but in some states the state will step in while the mother is pregnant with the child and intervene if they know that she is using drugs while pregnant. The state will then take the child into foster care until the mom can get her act together. If she cannot and the dad cannot, then the child is put up for adoption.

In this country, never. But remember, if the drugs don't kill her, aids will.

You can't expect the government to stop anyone from having a child. Women have a right to use their bodies as they will. The government sterilized the mentally ill years ago and all hell broke loose.

This is America, and I'd rather have a drug addict allowed to have children than have the government tell us who can or cannot give birth.

When child protective services find the children not being cared for. If a drug addict values the substance abuse over the kids, then the kids need to be taken away from the mother.

Until that same treatment is given to men who continue to donate sperm and produce dozens of babies by different mothers, then leave the women alone. This is not a womans issue, it's a mens issue as well.

Honestly, I'm just sick of women being the brunt of all the negative sides of society. Men don't protect themselves, then cry foul when they contract a STD or produce a baby they can't or won't support.

Get off the women and put the blame on both sexes - equally.

In some states, the woman is required by law to enter a drug treatment program. Unfortunately, in those same states the funding for those programs is drying up, so there's no place for these women to go.

Depends on how involved the government is in her pregnancy, for example if she is on welfare or has private insurance. Someone who knows what she is doing should call a drug hotline and report her. She is endangering the life of an unborn child and has to be stopped. Most of the hotlines don't even require you to give a name. They know who to contact to get to the bottom of things.

The law should and will step in the minute you get off the computer and call them. If you don't report her then you are just asmorally and legally responsible for the abuse of the unborn baby and her other kids, if she still has them!

The police will not do anything.. as long as their are programs out there to help her ... I know a lady that knocks down about $4,000.00 a month. lives in subsidized housing and better than mine... drives a car that someone gave her... collects food stamps and has 4 degrees paid for by the government ... she has never had a job that I know of.. she claims to have bipolar.... and the sad part about it is she not the only one doing this ...
