the songs from the hit musical comedy: my fair lady. they r very good. around 1955 i thnk. mostly performed by rex harrison n julie andrews, like: wudn't it be loverly, i'm an ordinary man, the rain in spain, i could have danced all night, i'v grown accustomed to her face...n one by Leonard weir called on the street where you live...it's a very very popular romantic song.
the instrumental songs by the ventures...they r very good too: tequila is the only name i remember offhand.
n ofcourse Tina Charles' songs...i thnk around the 60's or 70's i'm not sure.....but she's awesome. some of her popular stuff include: love bug, disco fever, dance little lady, i'l go where music take me, rendezvous, i love to love, Dr. love...etc etc
The carpenters hav some beautiful songs: top of the world, superstar, rainy days and mondays, yesterday once more, they long to be close to you, ticket to ride, goodbye to love....
these r some of theie hit singles between 69 n 73.
Rosegarden by Lynn Anderson, I can see clearly now by Johnny Cash, Sealed with a kiss by Bobby Vinton, Leaing on a jet plane by John Denver, Pretty Woman by Roy Orbinson, How much is that doggie in the window by Patti Page. all these songs r good too.
thr r plenty more but i just can't put my finger on them...if i remember i'l tell u.
