Respect. It seems that few women now adays think well of men -- usually when women talk about men, it is to say something negative.

Some gratitude, appreciation, or credit for what a guy does right, instead of complaining about every little thing that goes wrong.

Some independence. We do not have to do everything together.

Some self-confidence. I shouldn't have to be constantly complementing you, or constantly paying you attention, just to keep you from complaining or being upset.

A sense of humor.

Willing to have fun.

Some equality. Don’t expect your guy to spend all his money on you buying extravagant things you don’t need if you make as much money as him (unless you can & will reciprocate.).

Lose your sense of entitlement -- quit expecting your guy to treat you better than you treat him (that’s not chivalery – its being used).

Make your expectations realistic -- he is just as human as you. Don't have a double standard where you expect perfection from him, but you require him to forgive your mistakes.

Emotional stability -- don't make a big deal out of everything that doesn't go your way. No drama.

And oh yea, quit expecting a guy to read minds. Be brave enough to communite your needs and expectations out loud using actual words. Don't just give someone the cold sholder and say, "nothing's wrong", when obviously something is.

Honesty (to a degree). Patience (never ending) Adoration, a certain amount of freedom. Loyalty. A sense of humor (I should have listed that one first). A girl that's "wicked" gorgeous and sexually compatible, that likes your friends and family (including your retard Viet Nam Vet drunk uncle).

High maintenance is a turn off. Personally, I want a girl who can chill, who is smart and up to date on current events and somebody who can make me laugh. I realize relationships are a two-way street, but drama sucks. Little drama means healthy relationships.

Some girl who is nice and not whorish. Someone who doesn't call me every day and ask me a thousand questions. Someone who doens't need so much reassurance about my feelings.

A better question is what do you want in a relationship and then set out to find someone who has the same interests as yourself. You cannot please someone else until you know what pleases you. in other words Know Thy Self.
