Chronic heartburn is usually from acid reflux - stomach acid is getting past the little valve and into your esophagus. You also should know some natural ways to treat your heartburn. Learn them here

The most immediate thing you can do is to stop drinking coffee and cola. Smoking is not good either, but that might be harder to stop. Don't over-eat. Don't lie down too soon after eating. Don't burp too much - this carries acid up with the burp.

Oh honey, I lived on milk, tums, and if it was really bad, I used Protonix. My heartburn was just awful. Is it a sign that the time is near? Mine wasn't.

I don't think so. Mine actually got better--since the baby had dropped and there was less pressure. I think it is different for everyone. I had loose stools for weeks before, an upset stomache, the whole works and they still had to induce me. If you start having cramps that feel like period cramps, than you are right there, otherwise keep on waiting.

No it gets better. well depending on your diet after you give birth. but you should try some TUMS with calcium. my doctor recommended me that every time before i eat . try not to drink sodas or sour foods because that makes u sick. I hope you will get bet better....
