i am pregnant , i have asked questions about it before but now i am wondering if that is really what it is. do hemorroids bleed alot or just once in a while? 75% of the time whenever i am using the bathroom, blood will drip. It is usually bright red. Then sometimes on the TP it is a dark color. I have no idea if that is what it is. I do not notice any veins sticking out etc. What do you think? Could that be dangerous to have a vaginal delivery if i am bleeding like that?

The best way to find out what is going on is to see your doctor! Please call your ob first thing in the morning and find out exactly what is going on.

I had similar symptoms with my hemorrhoids when I was pregnant. I bled most of the time when I went to the bathroom and it felt like I was sh**ing nails, pardon my french. I had no veins, etc. either. My OB said it would not interfere with delivery but that they can sometimes get worse after due to all of the pressure while pushing. It was easily cleared up with suppositories after I had the baby. Just ask next time you go in. Good luck.

Hemorrhoids are very common in pregnancy, and they do tend to bleed. luckily I didn't get it but I heard it can be very painful. I would suggest seeing a doctor to make sure things are OK he will probably prescribe you a cream to get rid of the hemorrhoids. I don't think it will cause any problem when you deliver and if you treat it it should be gone before you give birth. Good luck and
maybe it would be a good idea to get that checked out.

Hemroids go in and come out, my hubby has had them but if it is vaginal bleeding, I suggest you go see a doctor, if it isnt it wouldnt hurt having the doc check the bottom area too. just to be safe. Yes hemroids do bleed, however i would think it would be bright since it would be new blood, if it is dark I think it would be vaginal.

hemorroids are in the annus, not vagina.
they bleed (usually as a stripe) after a strained bowl movement.
vaginal bleeding can be from a urinary infection or kidney stones,
and will continue for a short time after urination.
in any event, you should notify your doctor.

Sounds like you might want to ask your doctor, if blood is to the point that it will drip. Also, check out webmd.com or medlineplus.com. Babycenter.com may have something as well.

1). See a doctor (GP)
2). Discuss the benefits or hydro cortozone or other such creams
3). Watch how you rub. Pat don't rub. Use water. PAT don't rub!
