If you're not having periods, then you're not ovulating. If you're not ovulating, then you can't get pregnant.

Unless something changes by itself (and the human body *can* suddenly fix itself sometimes), you need some sort of treatment to make your body ovulate or you won't get pregnant. If you want to avoid hormones, then I would suggest you see a homeopath instead of a medical doctor. She/he may be able to help you more safely.

Find a natural compounding pharmacy and ask them about saliva tests to check your hormone levels. ZRT Labs is another avenue for this. They can naturally adjust your hormones and do it in a healthy way so that it doesn't affect the baby if you do become pregnant. These people are very educated and smart about this type of thing. Dr's don't always have the answers, unfortunately and think pills are the answer. Good luck.

Girlfriend, I too am ttc and like you I get irregular and absent periods.

You need to have an ultrasound done. I am also a little on the overweight side and was told PCOS could be a factor for me not getting pregnant. The truth was I had endiometriosis.

It's better to see what your ovaries and fallopian tubes look like first before you ttc...
