You must like to be on top....
The sex of the baby is determined by the sperm that makes it to the egg. The one's carrying the male material are faster, but they tire out quicker. The one's carrying the female material are slower, but have more stamina. (I learned this years ago on PBS.) So my theory was that if I helped the sperm with gravity, then the male sperm would have less distance to travel and would win the race. If the male is on top and the female keeps her hips elevated after lovemakeing, you'll increase your chances to have a boy. Also, make sure he stay in deep and stops thrusting during the climax.
If the female is on top, then the swimming required for the sperm will be much greater and the female sperm will probably be the only ones to make it to the egg.
My theory came from my learning of the differences of the sperm and I've had confirmation from the birth of my children.
I have 4 children and all 4 sexes were predicted by the position we were in during lovemaking. I can't say it'll be 100% accurate for you as it was for us, but I'm sure it will increase your odds.

There is no way to guarantee that you will get pregnant with a boy. However, you *can* increase the odds. The only method with any scientific evidence behind it is the Shettles method (see sources section below). Since it is only 75-90% effective, you should only use it if you will be thrilled to have a baby of either gender. To have the highest chance of getting a boy, read the book, not just the Web site.
I would also suggest you *not* find out the sex of the baby before the birth; research has shown that women are more likely to be disappointed with having the "wrong" sex if they find out before the birth than after--probably because when you find out early, you *only* have the sex of the baby, whereas afterwards, you have an entire baby. In addition, women who *want* a boy are often disappointed to be pregnant with a boy.
I hope this helps. Good luck!!

Buy the book "How to choose the sex of your baby" It is fascinating to read and makes sense. Boys are usually conceived during ovulation whereas girls are usually conceived just before. It's all about timing your ovulation and knowing when to try. My husband and I have a boy and are going to start trying for a girl soon. Give it a try. Good luck!

What is wrong with girls? If you have a boy do the girls then become second to him? Children are wonderful fun and frustrating as hell, be they boys or girls. As a father of five, I just wanted them to be healthy and happy.

You can't control what you have. It is just left up to genetics of your mate. What runs in your husbands side of the family? That can give you a good indication sometimes. Good Luck!

It's all up to God and what He chooses to bless us with. Perhaps you could choose to adopt a boy if you truly want one, there are many children out there who need parents who will love them. You'll be in my prayers!
God bless,
Melissa

You really don't have a choice as to what gender you conceive.
