My home has a well instead of city water. Whenever I ran a bath, brownish colored flecks come out of my faucet. After looking at the faucet, I noticed that the inside is covered in this redish-brown film. I am assuming that it is from the rust in the water, although I could be wrong. Can anybody tell me how to get rid of it?
Thanks!

It's actually a build up at your faucet from the minerals in the water and soap scum. buy a new toilet bowl brush and scrub it off. It's not harmful at all. when you take a shower or bath, be sure to rince the soap off the faucet off when you're through

I think those are mineral deposits that are forced upwards with the water. I think you should use CLR.calcium, lime and rust remover, fill a cup with the mixture and dunk the faucet in the mixture. good luck.

Use sulphuric acid to clean the stains and pour water immediately after the stains are removed.

I am not totally sure but I think that you might have to get all new pipes. Or maybe just get a new filter.
