Competition.

Imagine deer with guns, bears using baseball bats and vending machines. Think about raccoons with pistols and all of them hunting US!

My sister has a cat. Her husband has seen it try to open the door. If it could grip the handle then the cat would be outside. Animals aren't so dumb as some people think. Chimpanzees are the only other tool using animals, and all they have learned is to use pieces of straw to pull ants out of anthills so they can eat them. I don't think that anyone has tried to teach a chimp how to hold a gun, but if they learn how then we are in trouble.

Tool use is only possible thorough our manual dexterity, and tool use is the major factor that separates us from animals. If the animals gained the ability to use tools then say goodbye to the human race.
