You have to go to the Secretary of State for a license. They haven't tested on parallel parking for years.

If you mean a driving school:

Apollo Driving School
5557 Allen Road
Allen Park, MI 48101
Phone: 313-563-4757

Di Gregorio School of Driving
1347 King George Blvd.
Ann Arbor, MI 48103
Phone: 734-975-6860

Sears Authorized Driving School
900 Briarwood Cir
Ann Arbor, MI 48103
Phone: 734-761-2108

The above are all pretty close to Romulus. Below is info from a web site (link provided)

Basic Information on how to get the Learner’s Permit:

* Complete Driver Education from an approved driving school in your area and get the certificate of completion.
* Pass the written exam

In Michigan, you need to get a certificate of completion from an approved driving school and then pass the written test to get your learner’s permit.

And 70% of test takers fail the written test the first time they take it.

I am from Michigan. My granddaughter was sick. She took the driving class and did great on the written. BUT, she couldn't parallel park and they flunked her. She went back and did it again after two days of practice. She made it the second time.

But, where do you parallel park any more? It's not like in the old days when that was the only way you could park. I don't think it is right. I am 60 years old and I have never parallel parked.
