Hi. Has anyone had trouble with a Redtailed Shark losing colour on it's tail?
Any comments or suggetions welcome.

Yes, they can lose the Color in their tails, if they are not feeling well (sick). You probably should talk to a fish person that really knows about Tropical fish.

i have one the same thing happened to me and the color came back the book i red said it happened because it was sick and i didn't know in what way it was like hurting or just sore and the book also said the color might or might not come back depending on the secomstances hope this helps!

had loads, its usually when there sick. not sure if the color will come back,try a tea spoon of salt in the tank every day for a week. that usual kills any nastys in your tank or go to an aquatic shop.

Hi,Check ammonia levels that makes fish sick and they discolour and ifs high low it should help other wise a special fish vet
