My father was very skeptical of things like this until he visited his brother who owned a farm house out in nowhere land. He was getting suitcases from the trunk and suddenly the lid came down on him and pressed on top of him so hard that he couldn't push it back up. My father was a fairly muscular man so it shouldn't have been a problem. He had to really push hard to get the lid to push up again. It was an incredibly still, moonless night and there was absolutely no wind movement of any sort. Later that night footsteps could be heard walking up and down the stairs. Other times the pressure of someone sitting on top of a cousins legs had them packing to leave. This same place always had black windows for some reason...they were changed by a new owner only to have them turn black again...looking out was fine however looking in was almost impossible. Odd.
My experience...we had attended a party for my husband and I before getting married at a relatives home. I went to go to the washroom and while in there the door knob on a door that led to an attic began turning. I though it was a friend playing a joke because the only way into that part of the house was through that one door. I rushed out to try and catch the person I thought would be missing and he was sitting there playing cards...when I asked if he'd been on the other side of the house messing around with the door knob he said no and everyone else confirmed he'd been playing cards the whole time. I later learned that there were other very odd things going on in the house including a bedroom where my cousin found herself locked into while all the perfume collector bottes on her dresser shook as tho there was an earthquake even tho the house itself was still.
I have a good many such experiences I could relate so my answer after all this is yes, I believe in the possibility of real ghosts, however I refer to them as spirit beings. I also believe that loved ones can communicate with us once they've passed on, most often through our dreams...and yes, I have a very nice story about that one :)

i do no longer think in "ghosts" in any respect. All meant "ghosts" are defined via distinctive actual phenomena. i will call numerous phenomena that maximum folk are no longer conscious of, and ought to truly mistake for a "ghost". The checklist is unquestionably rather long. technology has rather plenty defined away all "ghosts". What technology has finished might boggle your suggestions, if any human have been even remotely waiting to appreciate even a fraction of cutting-edge technology. basically circulate to a medical library (at a college), and circulate to the technology or math section. look by a gaggle of books. you will go away the library with your head spinning, and little doubt that "ghosts" no longer in straightforward terms do no longer exist, yet have been some time past discounted as a available clarification.

I call them Spirits, and yes I really do believe. After my husband died he came to me in several ways and once vocally (I was not asleep). He made a heart in the snow on the porch; snow around it was completely undisturbed. Around a tree we planted together, a heart shape of darker green grass grew (taller than the rest) around the base of the tree. There's more, but these made me believe. When I had breast cancer followed by a mastectomy, I was so terribly morose (age 42) that all I could do was sob and ask "why, why, why?" I was so afraid I was going to die! I heard my father's voice (he died when I was 9) just as plain as the nose on my face tell me, "You're going to be OK". And I am. How could I possibly not believe?

They say it's just a thin veil between this world and the next.
I've only seen one ghost, but one is more than enough.
I can entertain the possibility that I am insane or was at that particular moment. Seems no less likely than a dead guy's spirit appearing in front of me.

I dont believe in "ghosts" like you are thinking. I believe the Devil acts in ways to side track us from whats really important in life. I believe those are demons acting on Satins behalf.

I belive in spirit...or emotion left behind. I think that sometimes there are souls who still walk the earth after life, but what we see of them or feel of them is what they have felt in their own lifetimes. I don't think that they knowingly interact with the living plane that we are on right now.

Ghosts do not appear because they don't want to scare us. They want to visit, check things out, leave a message, give us direction and more rarely enlist our help.
