This is from orbitz.com - we used it when we flew to St. Croix earlier this summer and it was cheaper than travelocity, priceline, and anything else we found. This flight is $182 per person, and if you book a hotel with them, you get a huge discount. Hope it helps!

I searched your request on Travelocity and found the cheapest fare from Oakland to Las Vegas on the period you mentioned is $207 (the fare is $182 but taxes bring it to $207). This fare is available on America West Airlines and US Airways. Another fare of $217 is widely available too on these two airlines, and also on United. Travelocity also offers a package of $367 that includes the ticket on America West and 4-night stay in a hotel (pretty nice).

From San Francisco, you can get the same fare of $207 on the same airlines mentioned above. Travelocity also is giving a ticket+hotel package of $363.

Another alternative is flying from San Jose. The fare there is $203. From Sacramento, it is $205.

Check out Southwest Airlines. If you book by July 27, they have some very good fares. They also have package deals with hotels. Or you could try Priceline for a cheap hotel.
