I am watching a DVD on my lap top and every 15 seconds or so the sound catches. It is like it isn't processing quick enough.

ANY IDEAS?!??!

You might want to try adding additional RAM to your laptop, and perhaps changing programs to view the DVD's...something like Cyberlink's Power DVD would be a good choice.

Try closing down all programs besides the DVD player (ie the internet browser, AIM, iTunes, etc.) That will free up some memory and it could help.

Also, try reducing the screen size of the movie. Say you are watching it at full screen. Try reducing it to 3/4 of half the size.

Good luck!

Try using VideoLAN (VLC) ( http://videolan.org )

It sounds like you eventually might want to upgrade your video/graphics card (128-256 MB) or your PC's RAM.
