As stupid as it sounds, it does mean that you get paid every other week. 'Bi-weekly' should mean that you get paid twice a week, but unfortunately for our poorly educated society and our poorly financed pocketbooks, it does not.

Bi-weekly means you will get paid every 2 weeks. You will not get a check one week then the next you will. That is usually 2 time a month. every 14 days. I hope this helps. sometime the way companies do things is to confuse us. Good Luck

Now, that thinking is completely different than the way it actually is in the world. It's when 2 people doing the same job, equal sales and have been there the same amount of years yet this man is making more than this woman, why? That doesn't make any sense. It would make sense if she was slacking off and smoking cigarettes every hour, then taking 20 minute breaks and not making sales. Then I could understand the difference, but that's just not how it is. And when you have more seniority and make the most sales out of anyone and some kid takes your promotion it gets old really. But it happens because people don't think others will take women seriously in management positions.
