Seriously, the original Bubbles is living in an animal sanctuary in CA these days.
There have been rumors that MJ has owned several chimps, all named Bubbles...

It was a chimp and they are charming when they are kids, but are mean as adults. He put the chimp in a monkey refuge. I think it was the same refuge where the guy was mauled to by a chimp when the couple were celebrating another chimp's birthday (it wasn't the same chimp that was having a birthday).
