I think he is trying to see if you will jealous with his pronouncements. It is either he feels he need to seek more attention from you or he just like to see you jealous or maybe he is actually doing all those things he say he does and see what your reactions to them are. Talk to him about those things when he is sober. Be as calm as possible and tell him what you feel about that.

Depends on how many drinks he had. I believe that cronic alcoholics do not have conscience at that time, they forget things and they react like from instincts, reason seems to be blind.
But if he had the guts to tell you when he is drunk is because that information is in his subconcious and in some way when he was not drinking he wanted to tell you that but didnt find how to do it.
Some people that do not drink too much is because they may be afraid of that side of their personality to "shine" to others and say things they are tought about it but didnt have the guts to say at normal times.
Alcohol tigers that subconcious part, and hidden desires etc are easy to detect at that time. It is likely he didnt mean all the things he said under alcohol but maybe what hurts more than words is to see that the person you love is in another state and being controlled by a substance. Maybe that hurts more....

Yes, I think they do know what they are saying and I think that in many cases a persons true colours show when they are drinking. I would not want to be with someone who is not basically what they are when they are sober.

Uh, depends on how drunk they are. Sometimes, alcohol can cause the brain to throw away all inhibitions and they might say something they've wanted to. However, alcohol can also completely seize the brain and cause them to blubber random things...

When my wife was drinking I decided that I couldn't have an intelligent conversation with her while she was drunk, so I didn't get to talk with her very much until she got treatment & stayed sober. No I don't believe they know what they are saying when they are drunk.

for sure under the influence he still knows what he's saying. ask him why he is doing these things, and express to him you don't like it, and set some clear boundaries that it can't happen. he could be fading out of the relationship.
